Two enigmatic mermaids sit poised upon a velvet settee, their pale forms adorned with sculptural shell bodices that cascade like baroque confections. Against a muted silver sky, branches of vivid red coral rise like forbidden trees, framing these otherworldly sisters in an atmosphere of haunting elegance. The painting weaves together elements of classical portraiture and oceanic mythology into a dreamscape both unsettling and utterly captivating.
